It's a fact that video game graphics have evolved significantly in recent years thanks to the possibilities offered to developers by sophisticated hardware and new gaming engines, but what a small and unknown studio has achieved has never been seen before.

DRAMA's Unrecord is an innovative first person shooter currently in development on Epic Games' Unreal Engine 5, with its novelty being the perspective from the body cam worn by police officers in the US, but also the unimaginable photorealistic graphics that make you think it's footage from the real world!

In the gameplay video we watch a police officer storm into an abandoned building in an attempt to apprehend a suspect. Along the way he takes out several opponents until he ends up in a room and is interrupted by a large explosion. An incredibly realistic environment in terms of visuals, but the unprecedented perspective and completely lifelike motion has divided gamers worldwide, as more than a few believe this is a fake video.

That's why the company has released yet another video via one of its developers, showing roughly the same gameplay trailer footage running through the Unreal Engine 5 development tools, while also stating that it feels sorry for those who don't believe it's real!

Unrecord is currently in development for Windows PCs and so far no word on when it will be released. If all goes well, it looks like it will usher in a new era for the fps genre, and for gaming in general.
