WhatsApp adds useful and long awaited features

After several leaks in the previous weeks from the beta version, the WhatsApp development team has officially announced the new features that we will gradually see in the popular service.

The official blog focused on WhatsApp Communities, a new section aimed mainly at organizations and communities in order to gather all the relevant updates on a topic with the possibility of creating smaller groups of members to discuss the topics. There will normally be admins and all messages will be protected from end-to-end encryption.

The other additions are the emoji reactions in the chat messages, to easily and quickly express your opinion to the interlocutors, the ability to share files up to 2GB in size (instead of just 100MB that is valid until today), to make group voice calls with up to 32 participants, but also the ability for admins to delete messages that they deem problematic from the chats of all participants in the groups.
