WhatsApp announced the release of a new iOS feature that allows users to create, edit, and share their own stickers. You may use this new function to transform your images into stickers or to modify existing stickers. You can now make personalized stickers right within the Meta-owned messaging app rather than dragging and dropping photos from your photo collection or using third-party applications.

WhatsApp's editing features, which include text, sketching, and the ability to overlay other stickers, may be used to personalize stickers. When you send a personalized sticker, it is instantly kept in your sticker tray, where you may use it whenever you want.

To make a sticker from a picture, first open your sticker tray by clicking the sticker symbol to the right of the text box. Then, click the "create sticker" option and select a photo from your gallery. Then, you may personalize your sticker by selecting a cutout and adding text, stickers, or drawings to it. When you're finished, you may mail your sticker.

To update an existing sticker, open the sticker tray and long press the sticker you wish to change. After that, click the "edit sticker" option. You may then personalize your sticker and submit it when you're finished.

According to WhatsApp, the new sticker creator, which is now accessible on WhatsApp site, will be available for iOS 17+ in the next days. It's unclear when the capability will be available to Android users.
