WhatsApp will soon be available to iPad and Android tablet

Facebook-owned WhatsApp is working on several major long-term improvements, and it seems like is planning a fully native app for iPad and Android tablet.

WhatsApp has been available for a long time to mobile devices and according to WABetaInfo, Facebook is ready to make the messaging platform available to tablets as well. WhatsApp is working on bringing multi-device support to the messaging app that will support up to four different devices, including tablets.

“Multi-device means that users will have the same functionality that is available on the current public versions of WhatsApp Web, Desktop and Portal, just without the need to have your phone connected. Our multi-device capability immediately makes the experience better for people who use Desktop/Web and Portal. And it also will make it possible to add support for more kinds of devices over time,” the company said.
