Microsoft has changed the process for setting up your default browser from Edge to another browser in Windows 11. Previously, users could set Google Chrome as their default browser, and any file type linked with internet browsers would open in Google Chrome. But in Windows 11, they have to change each file type separately.

The simplest solution to set Google Chrome as the default browser is to alter the file types that are now set to Microsoft Edge. This ensures that instead of file types opening Edge, Google Chrome is displayed.
