YouTube launches separate tabs for Shorts, Livestreams and Long-form videos

New redesign to YouTube to make it easier for users to find exactly the type of content they're looking for from each channel creator. Google adds three separate tabs to each channel where you can find the creator's classic long-form videos, popular Shorts or Livestreams, including those that have gone before and those that are planned for the future.

According to the company, users have been asking for such a separation for a long time, as until now all types of videos were concentrated and confused in the general feed of each channel, resulting in whether someone wanted to see only Shorts or only Livestreams was a rather time-consuming process .

From now on, the Shorts tab includes only the creator's short clips, the Live tab includes previous livestreams and everything the creator has stated he will do in the future, while the Videos tab only has the classic long-form videos.
