YouTube PiP mode is coming to iOS devices in a few days

The Picture-in-Picture test took longer than Google might have expected, but it looks like we're in the final stages of launching at the YouTube app for iOS devices.

The company tweeted in response to a user confirming that the famous PiP will be available in the coming days for owners of iOS devices, as long as they are running iOS version 15 or later.

The company also emphasizes that the ability to watch YouTube videos in a pop-up window (so you can use other applications at the same time) will be available to all users worldwide and not just those who subscribe to the YouTube Premium package.

If you have an iPhone or iPad and have iOS 15 or iPadOS 15 (or later) installed, it is quite possible that you will see PiP mode in the YouTube app in the next few hours or days.
