Apple announced iOS 18.4, which brings Apple Intelligence to new markets including the European Union and India. The upgrade also includes support for other languages, such as French (France, Canada), German, Italian, Portuguese (Brazil), Spanish (Spain, Latin America, and the United States), Japanese, Korean, Simplified Chinese, and localised English (India and Singapore).

Apple Intelligence capabilities are available on the iPhone 15 Pro, 15 Pro Max, and iPhone 16 series handsets, as well as iPads/Macs with M1 or later. Apple has published iOS and iPadOS 16.7.11 and 15.8.4 for older devices that do not support iOS 18.

With iOS 18.4, users now get Priority Notifications, which move essential notifications to the top of the notification stack. Image Playground now includes a new Sketch style for content generation. Visual Intelligence is now available for iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max models. Along with iOS 18.4, Apple is now seeding iPadOS 18.4, macOS 15.4, watchOS 11.4, and visionOS 2.4.

Apple Vision Pro will also receive an initial set of Apple Intelligence capabilities with the newly released visionOS 2.4 update. Writing Tools, Image Playground, Genmoji, and Smart Reply are now only available in US English. Apple also introduced a special Apple Vision Pro iOS app, which provides Vision Pro owners with useful tips, new spatial content, and the opportunity to download apps and material remotely.

WatchOS 11.4 introduces a new "Break Through Silent Mode" feature that allows sound and haptics to function even when the device is set to silent mode. Apple also included Matter integration, allowing watch owners to control Matter smart home products such as robot vacuums. The update also includes bug fixes and stability improvements.
