Apple made its Apple TV service available to billions of Android users by releasing a new Apple TV app on the Google Play Store. Previously, Apple released a version of its Apple TV app for Google TV devices. This new app is compatible with smartphones, tablets, and foldable devices running Android 8.0 or higher.

The Apple TV Android app allows users to view Apple Original series and films, as well as Apple TV+ subscription content such as Friday Night Baseball, which features two live MLB games each week during the regular season. With MLS Season Pass, viewers can watch live football matches and experience the entire MLS regular season with no blackouts.

Users can now subscribe to Apple TV+ and MLS Season Pass via Google Play billing for effortless payments. Also, they can smoothly continue where they left off with this new Apple TV app for Android across all of their iOS and Android devices. They may stream everything over Wi-Fi or a cellular connection, or download stuff to view later.

Unfortunately, Apple TV app users on Android will be unable to rent or purchase films and episodes. However, previously purchased content on Apple devices can be accessed without trouble within this app. This Android extension dramatically improves Apple TV's accessibility and content.

Users may get the Apple TV app for free from the Google Play Store here.
