Google is upgrading the classic Clock application for Android devices and for the first time offers the user the possibility to record his own sound for the alarm clock, but also for the timer directly from within the application.

Although the Google Clock app already allows you to upload an audio file, including recordings, to set as alarm clock or timer sounds, the process is not as simple as it seems. After recording what you want, you should copy the file to the Alarms folder of your device using a file manager. Then it appears in the available sounds and you can proceed to define it.

With the new update of Google Clock to version 7.3, you don't have to train yourself with the aforementioned process, as you can proceed to the recording directly from the application through the Record New option in the Alarm Sound and Timer Sound settings. Tapping on it will open the Record application and you can easily do your work from there.

It will start with the company's Pixel devices and then we will see it on all Android smartphones.
