Google removes Movies & TV section from Google Play Store

Google is still making big changes as part of the upgrade of the Google Play Store, with the company gradually updating the user interface to the desktop version and removing product categories in order to bring to the fore what really matters to the users: games and apps.

Many users around the world have already stopped watching the Movies & TV category on the Google Play Store, with the company informing them that all the purchases and rentals they have made have now been integrated into the separate Google TV app.

Through the Google TV application you will be able to make new purchases / rentals, renew the wish list, as well as watch content from various streaming services such as Disney + and Amazon Prime Video.

In addition, the Google TV app includes a remote control function to manage all Android TV / Google TV devices directly from there, including streaming boxes, sticks and Smart TVs.
