The PlayStation 5 release date for Indiana Jones and the Great Circle has been announced. MachineGames' next Nazi-thwacking simulator will be available on Sony's platform on April 17, just four months after its release on Xbox and PC. If you purchase the digital premium edition or physical collector's bundle, you will receive early access to the game on April 15 (along with some other perks). Digital pre-orders are currently open, and physical pre-orders will be available tomorrow, March 25.

Microsoft revealed in August that it would adapt the immensely pleasant hit to Sony's PlayStation this spring as part of its transition away from platform exclusivity. Over the last year or so, a number of significant former Xbox exclusives have made their way to the PS5 (and, in some cases, the Switch). Among these are Sea of Thieves, Hi-Fi Rush, Pentiment, and Grounded. Forza Horizon 5 will also be released on April 29 for the PlayStation 5.

Meanwhile, Doom: The Dark Ages will be released for the PlayStation 5 on May 15, the same day it will be available on PC and Xbox. Rumours say that Sony will release a remastered collection of the first three Gears of War games. The relaunched Fable and perhaps Xbox's iconic Halo series may make the jump to PlayStation as Microsoft's gaming garden's walls fall.
