Messenger celebrates its 10th anniversary with new birthday features

Facebook's messaging platform blows out the candles on its 10 years anniversary and the company plans to celebrate the occasion with new features and updates.

On the occasion of Messenger's birthday, new features are added such as birthday soundmoji, AR effects, and brand-new stickers and chat themes. In fact, users will now have the opportunity to transfer money to their friends as a birthday present with Facebook Pay.

At the same time, users will now be able to have fun with a new type of mini-game to their chats, which will include polls, asking users which friend is more likely to miss a flight or fight zombies.

All features that are already available to users highlight the changes that Messenger has made over the past decade. Messenger launched in 2011 and since then it has evolved into one of the most important messaging platforms globally.
