Microsoft Lists, Microsoft's task management software, is now available to everyone. Microsoft Lists, was launched in 2020 and first confined to commercial and enterprise customers before a limited preview for consumers last year. Microsoft has made this free version of Microsoft Lists available to everyone with a Microsoft Account via iOS, Android, and the web.
Microsoft Lists allows you to create, manage, and share lists across devices, with pre-built templates for activities such as expenditure monitoring, recipe creation, gift ideas, and much more. Lists may be readily shared with colleagues, friends, and family, allowing numerous individuals to add to a list.
Microsoft Lists includes a simple grid-style list view, but you may easily switch to a calendar view or custom layout, similar to Asana and Airtable. You can also export lists to CSV files to facilitate data input into other apps and services easier.
βWeβre excited to see what sorts of information tracking goodness you create during preview, and how you share it all,β says Garima Wadhera, a principal program manager at Microsoft. βCreate, use, and share your information with anyone, anywhere while on the go with a personalized, mobile-first experience.β
Microsoft Lists is presently available in preview at lists.microsoft.com as well as through dedicated iOS and Android applications. Microsoft has not stated whether a desktop version is in the works, nor when Microsoft Lists will be released from preview.
