When it comes to news about science and biology in particular, it is the news about DNA and RNA that gets the most publicity. However, a very large part of the tremendous complexity and possibilities of life is determined by the function of proteins. In the most recent episode of Kurzgesagt, an excellent analysis of the role that proteins play in the creation of life is given.
