Telegram rolls out new features

Telegram Messenger has introduced some special features for users, which include reactions to messages, translation for messages, themed QR codes, and hidden text.

The new year’s change finds the messaging platform Telegram to be enriched with brand new features, such as reactions and translation of messages, QR codes, hidden texts for spoilers, and much more.

Telegram users can now react to a specific message with emojis. With a double-tap on the message of your choice, you can choose between different emojis to express your reaction. Each emoji has a unique animation.

You can change the reaction emoji on Android by heading to Chat Settings> Quick Reaction and on iOS by heading to Stickers and then Emoji> Quick Reaction.

The next feature added to Telegram will please all users who are outraged by the spoilers. If a user decides to reveal "confidential" information, he now has the option to select the text he wants to hide and select Spoiler formatting. This way, the hidden text will not be visible in Chats or notifications. To reveal the hidden text, just tap it and it’ll show up.

Undoubtedly, one of the most useful features of Telegram is the translation tool. If you head over to Settings > Language and enable Translation, you’ll get a Translate button in each message’s context menu that lets you translate the content to your language from within the app. This feature works on all supported Android versions but iOS users will need to be running iOS 15+.

Finally, Telegram for macOS has been upgraded with new animation and emoji additions, including 🔥 😁 🤩 😢 😭 ❄️.
