The 200 worst and most popular passwords of 2021 have been revealed

Internet users are still making it easy for hackers to access their private data and online accounts. NordPass has published a list with the 200 most common passwords used this year and revealed that the most frequently used are ‘’123456’789’, ‘’qwerty’’ and ‘’password’’.

According to NordPass, each and every one of those passwords would take a hacker less than one second to crack.

NordPass CEO Jonas Karklys said:

“Unfortunately, passwords keep getting weaker, and people still don’t maintain proper password hygiene. It’s important to understand that passwords are the gateway to our digital lives, and with us spending more and more time online, it’s becoming enormously important to take better care of our cybersecurity.”
