Now available on iOS and Android is the Bing app, offering a new experience with a brand new look and feel. Selecting the Bing icon at the bottom of the app brings up a conversation that users can now join in any way they would from their computer. They can ask simple or complex questions and receive answers and references and choose how they want their answers to appear - in dots, text or in a simplified format.
Along with the introduction of the new Bing app on mobile devices, one of the most sought-after features - voice search - is also being integrated. Available on mobile and desktop, voice search provides greater flexibility in how users provide suggestions and receive answers from Bing. In addition, those with access to the preview will also be able to use this Bing feature from the home page of the Microsoft Edge mobile app.
To make it easier to chat with friends and family, the revamped AI-powered Bing is also coming to Skype. Over 36 million people use Skype every day to connect with the world through phone calls and messaging, and the new Bing offers some useful and fun features. Users can now add Bing to the group, just as they would to add any contact on Skype, and ask him to answer questions and provide information to the entire group. When chatting, users can ask Bing to pull information from the web, for example the latest news, weather forecasts or travel destination suggestions, and add it to the conversation, and they can even choose how they want their answers to appear - in dots, text or in a simplified format.
"Fluent in more than 100 languages and with the ability to translate between those languages, Bing offers unique value in this global communication tool.
The new Bing on Skype is available worldwide for preview today and can provide real-time, useful answers to all questions, with a vision to introduce it to other communication applications such as Teams in the future.
