Autocorrect provides some help to our messaging procedures, but also it often leads to funny mistakes that we only see after our message is sent. For this reason, the WhatsApp development team is also preparing a message editing feature.
No special explanation is needed for the edit function, as it will practically allow you to intervene in what you wrote after sending to correct any spelling mistakes or failures of the autocorrect. The WABetaInfo website has located the function in the code of the application and states that it is still in the development stage, so it has not been integrated in the beta version of WhatsApp for further testing either.
From the preview we see that the user will be able to hold and hold the finger on the message he wants to edit and then locate the edit option by clicking on the three vertical bars at the top right of the screen. The preview does not specify whether you will be able to see the history of the corrections, or whether there will be some time to edit the message.
It is worth mentioning that WhatsApp had experimented with the edit button five years ago (in 2017), but never integrated the function into the service.
