WhatsApp now officially lets you transfer chats between Android and iOS

After more than a month of testing, Meta announced that we can now easily transfer WhatsApp chat history from Android devices to iOS devices.

This means that all photos, videos, voice messages and chat history will be able to be transferred easily and quickly, but messages related to transactions-payments and call history are excluded.

This particular function has been one of the biggest demands of WhatsApp users for several years, because until now you had to either transfer your data manually (e.g. via Bluetooth), or use a third-party application on a laptop. You realize that this is significantly more time consuming and difficult for the average user to perform.

To make the transfer you should install the Move to iOS application on your Android device and follow the very simple instructions you will find there. Note that both devices should have the latest version of WhatsApp installed and running Android 5.0 or later and iOS 15.5 or later respectively.
