WhatsApp confirmed that its multi-device support will roll out to public beta users within two months. The new feature will allow users to connect their WhatsApp account to four devices at once. The company also announced two new features, "view one" and "disappearing mode".

Will Cathcart, head of WhatsApp, stated in an interview published to WABetainfo, that multi-device support will probably make WhatsApp on iPad a possibility. Facebook CEO Marc Zuckerberg also gave details of the two additional new features. He explained that with "view one" users will be able to send messages which will disappear after being viewed by the recipient. At the same time, for the "disappearing mode" he said that it will allow the disappearance of the messages in all the conversations.

WhatsApp didn’t provide further details on the release date of the two new features. However, Cathcart said that multi-device support will be entering public beta “in the next month or two.”
