The WhatsApp development team has been experimenting with several new features lately, such as the famous messaging reactions and polls in group chats, as well as better voice control.

Another new addition is expected to be the ability to send - receive files up to 2GB directly from conversations on the service and in fact these files will be normally protected from end-to-end encryption for greater security and privacy.

According to the website WABetaInfo, the tests started in South America in the latest beta version of the application - service for iOS devices. When activated for all users it will definitely be a very big upgrade, since from 2017 until today it is allowed to send files up to 100MB in size. Clearly, users who exchange videos will be greatly facilitated instead of turning to other solutions.

From the moment the tests started, it is likely that we will see the new feature in the coming weeks on all platforms where WhatsApp is available.
