Windows 11 now supports more than 1000 Android apps

The first major upgrade to Windows 11 brings with it several new features, with top-notch support for more than 1,000 Android apps. These apps are available through the Amazon Appstore that users can find in the Microsoft Store.

At the same time, Microsoft brings in Windows 11 the new Media Player that replaces the Groove application and automatically transfers all the music and playlists of users to the new environment, while adding a mute / unmute button, time and shortcut for quick screen sharing in the Taskbar . Finally, the Notepad application acquires Dark Mode and some menu improvements that will facilitate users in simple daily processes.

According to Panos Panay, head of Windows and Devices,

With the new upgrade of Windows 11 we add more than 1000 applications and games of the Android ecosystem. Users now have access to the Amazon Appstore through the Microsoft Store to find popular apps such as Audible, Subway Surfers, Lords Mobile, Khan Academy Kids and more.
