Xiaomi introduces 200W wired and 120W wireless HyperCharge technology

Xiaomi unveiled a milestone in the smartphone charging space by introducing the new technology HyperCharge. According to the company, the new tech HyperCharge offers 200W wired charging and 120W wireless charging, resulting in a 4000mAh battery fully charged in 8 and 15 minutes!

The company published a video that shows the battery reaches 50% in 3 minutes and 100% in less than 8 minutes with wired charging, while with wireless charging it reaches 10% in 1 minute and 50% in 7 minutes.

The company hasn’t announced when the new HyperCharge technology will be available on commercial devices, nor has it gone into further details.
