Apple unveils new 14-inch MacBook Pro and new iPad Pro powered by the M5 chip

Apple has introduced the new 14-inch MacBook Pro featuring the all-new M5 chip—marking the next major leap in artificial intelligence performance for the Mac—as well as the powerful new iPad Pro with M5, delivering the most advanced iPad experience ever.

With the M5, the 14-inch MacBook Pro becomes faster, more powerful, and takes a huge step forward in AI performance. The M5 chip features a next-generation GPU with a Neural Accelerator in every core, delivering up to 3.5x greater AI performance¹ and up to 1.6x faster graphics² compared to the previous generation. The M5 also includes a faster and more efficient CPU, an enhanced Neural Engine, and increased memory bandwidth—speeding up everything from app launches to running large language models (LLMs) directly on the device.
