Google Maps gets new widgets on iPhone

Google has updated the Google Maps app for iOS, and users can now add useful widgets to their Home Screen.

Users will now have the opportunity to quickly search for a location through the widget, receive the necessary guidelines for a destination, but also obtain all the information needed to find places that are nearby like restaurants, gas stations, and grocery stores.

At the same time, users will be able to easily check for traffic conditions on the route to their destination, but also many new things, like a store’s opening hours.

If you want to use the Google Maps widget, make sure that you have the latest version of the app installed and that your device is running iOS 14 or later.
