Instagram introduces pinned posts globally

The Instagram development team recently announced that all users now have the ability to pin up to 3 posts to their profile, including Reels, to look solid on the grid.

As they explain, in this way content creators will be able to prepare a better reception for potential followers who visit their profile, either with a beautiful visual or by presenting their top posts that may have been lost among the dozens of posts they made on past.

The ability to pin a post to the profile has existed in the past, but now it has become significantly easier for each user. All you have to do is go to the photo or Reel you want, click on the three vertical dots in the upper right corner and select "Pin to your profile".

Today's announcement is a continuation of the packaged new features that Meta adds to Instagram in an effort not to lag behind the terribly rising TikTok and the significantly enhanced YouTube Shorts feature.
