Apple has a habit of introducing new iPhone shades every Spring, as last year we saw the Muted Green shade for the iPhone 13 series and the year before that the Purple shade for the iPhone 12 series. This year, the new option is Yellow for the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus!
As we can see from the images shared by the company, the new Yellow shade is particularly intense to the extent that it resembles a banana. In fact, the yellow color has even painted the aluminum outline of the devices, in addition to the glass back, unlike the similar implementation we saw on the iPhone XR.
It should also be noted that the Yellow option only applies to the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus models, and not the Pro and Pro Max. We also recall that the other available colors are Midnight, Starlight, Blue, Purple and (PRODUCT)RED. Aside from the color change, all other technical specifications of the devices remain as we know them from last September.
In addition, Apple announced four new colors for the plastic cases for all models of the iPhone 14 series (Canary Yellow, Olive, Sky and Iris), so if you like the color yellow and you own the iPhone 14 Pro or iPhone 14 Pro Max you can settle for the Canary Yellow case.
Pre-orders for the yellow iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus start on March 10 and availability from March 14, 2023.
