Most major smartphone manufacturers are looking for ways to reduce the temperature during difficult processes (eg long video recording, long hours of gaming) and the truth is that we have several systems that include vacuum chambers and heat pipes.

Xiaomi proposes something different, which it calls Loop LiquidCool and even claims that it offers twice the performance compared to what we have seen so far. The system in the classic cycle of heat pipes (evaporation of the liquid due to the increase of temperature, transfer to another chamber where it is cooled to liquefy again, etc.), but it stands out because there is no contact between the two chambers and the design is optimized for proper liquid diffusion thanks to the valves manufactured by Tesla.

The Xiaomi Loop LiquidCool system will be available on its devices from mid-2022 onwards. The demonstration with a modified Xiaomi MIX 4 showed a temperature drop of 8.6ºC after 30 minutes of gaming in the Genshin Impact at maximum graphics settings, while the company's official estimate is for 5°C on smartphones with Snapdragon 888 SoC.
