Youtube adds Super Thanks feature to help creators earn more

Youtube has announced that it’s rolling out the new Super Thanks feature so as viewers show their support behind their favorite creators. According to Youtube, viewers will be able to purchase Super Thanks for their favorite creators to "express their gratitude and support".

The feature will be displayed with a heart-shaped icon with the dollar symbol next to the download button. By clicking on this icon, users will purchase the Super Thanks feature. When purchasing a Super Thanks, they will see a new animated GIF and a colorful field to comment on their purchase. Based on this comment, creators will be able to respond easily to their fans.

Currently, the Super Thanks feature is available at prices of $ 2, $ 5, $ 10, and $ 50. In addition, it’s being tested in 68 countries for desktops and mobile devices. YouTube plans to make the new feature available to all creators on its platform within the year.
